On behalf of all volunteers of Community Patrols of NZ, we gratefully acknowledge your support.
In partnership with other agencies, Community Patrols prevent crime and reduce harm through the active presence of CPNZ trained patrollers. Our volunteers work closely with the Police as extra ‘eyes and ears’ through intelligence gathering and observation.
But, as with any Not-for-Profit organisation, we rely solely on local grants, sponsorship and donations to cover our annual operating expenses.
Thanks to the generosity of people like you, your local Community Patrol can continue working to build a community where everyone feels safe.
Community Patrols of NZ is a registered Charitable Trust (CC31245). Donations over $5 are eligible for a 33% NZ Charitable giving tax credit (i.e. you will pay less tax on your income when you submit donor receipts to IRD).
To donate to your local Community Patrol, please follow the instructions below:
- add Community Patrols of NZ as a ‘Payee’ on your bank account:
- CPNZ Account No: 12-3233-0563756-00
- add the following details for your transaction:
- Particulars: add the word ‘Donation‘
- Code: enter your mobile number
- Reference: enter the ‘Name of your local patrol or town‘ you wish to donate to.
Prior to tax time, simply email us at office@cpnz.org.nz to request your Donor Receipt. We will gladly issue a donor receipt for your total contributions, which you can submit online to IRD.
